Physiotherapy

Pain is rarely just about where it hurts. At Move Physiotherapy, we don't chase symptoms, we find the root cause and build a plan to fix it for good.

Physiotherapy by Move Physio

Our physiotherapy appointments combine a thorough hands-on assessment with detail and explanation of a clear diagnosis followed by collaborating on an evidence-based rehab programme uniquely tailored to you.

Whether you're a GAA player trying to get back on the pitch, a weekend warrior managing a niggle, or simply someone who wants to get through the day without discomfort, we'll meet you where you are and get you moving freely again.

We assess and treat the full range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, including:

  • Back and neck injuries

  • Sports injuries e.g. hamstring strains, hip and groin issues, ankle sprains, tendon pain.

  • Knee injuries and post-operative rehab, including ACL reconstruction and joint replacements.

  • Shoulder pain and rotator cuff problems

  • Tendon injuries such as Achilles and patellar tendinopathy or plantar fasciitis.

  • And more..

What to expect from your first appointment?

Your first session is a full assessment. We take the time to understand your injury history, your goals (i.e. what really matters to you) and look at how your body is actually moving, then explain what's going on in simple terms. From there you'll leave with a clear diagnosis and explanation of your pain along with the first steps of your rehab plan.

Treatment may include hands on manual therapy, massage, dry needling, shockwave therapy, a personalised exercise programme, and objective strength testing to track your progress. No guesswork, no endless "wait and see” approaches. Just a clear actionable path back to full health.

Our aim is to answer these four questions for you:

What is the problem?

We strive to provide a clear, logical diagnosis for your pain or injury.

Why did it happen?

We aim to get to the root cause of the injury, not just treating the symptoms. But identify the ‘culprit’ (i.e. cause) of your injury.

What is the plan?

We provide a clear, step by step pathway to recovery with goals to be achieved at each stage. Criteria based progression, not just time based.

How long will it take?

Based on our diagnosis, examination of contributing factors and development of the rehab pathway, we provide a guide on how long it will take you to recover.
